From the CEO & Library Director
Queens Library is delighted to host IFLA’s 2011 MetLib Annual Conference from Sunday, May 15 through Friday, May 20. I look forward to all of us sharing our ideas and experiences from around the world at a conference that will be invigorating and exciting for all. It’s only fitting that with “A Diverse Community” as our theme, the conference is right here in Queens, the United States’ most diverse community.
Our city of more than eight million, with its world-famous museums, green parks, and Broadway theaters, is a destination for people from all over the world.
I look forward to meeting you, and hope that your stay in New York City is fruitful, productive, and fun!
